Tuning guide for your personal style.

Suspension

[!] Can feel a bit too stiff over bumps, leading to loss of traction.

Soften the suspension slightly and adjust damping to better absorb track imperfections.

Anti-Roll Bars

[!] Rear can feel unstable under corner entry and exit.

Stiffen the rear ARB to improve stability and reduce understeer.

Differential

[!] Can be prone to snap oversteer on corner exit.

Reduce initial torque and acceleration sensitivity to smooth out power delivery.

[!] Track Analysis — Circuit de la Sarthe

Where and how to drive on this track for the best lap time.

Start/Finish Straight to Dunlop Chicane

Downshift to 3rd or 2nd gear

High-speed braking zone into a tight right-left chicane

Brake as late as possible on the main straight, aiming for the braking marker. Trail brake into the right-hander, then immediately turn left, being careful not to hit the kerbs too aggressively on exit. The chicane is designed to slow cars down significantly for the following section.

Porsche Curves

4th-5th gear

Fast, flowing, and undulating left-hand sequence

This is a crucial section for maintaining momentum. Enter with a good entry speed, progressively turn left through the series of curves, keeping the car balanced. Avoid abrupt steering inputs. Use the full width of the track where possible, but be mindful of the barriers.

Indianapolis and Arnage Corner

Indianapolis: Downshift to 3rd; Arnage: Downshift to 1st or 2nd

Indianapolis: fast right-hander; Arnage: very tight hairpin right-hander

Indianapolis requires a very late braking point and a precise turn-in to carry speed through the fast right-hander. Arnage is a significant speed reduction. Brake hard and early, turn in sharply, and get on the power as early as possible on the exit, being mindful of the tight radius.

Mulsanne Straight

Top gear

Very long, mostly flat straight with a slight kink

This is where top speed is paramount. Focus on aerodynamic efficiency and stability. Ensure the car is straight before braking for the end of the straight. Be aware of other cars and potential slipstreaming.
