[+] Driving Tips

  • Trail brake to keep the nose pointed - the mid-engine layout rewards this technique
  • Be patient on throttle after the apex to avoid rear snap
  • Use the low weight advantage by maximising corner entry speed
  • In the wet, soften ARBs across the board and add 1-2 clicks of TC

[!] Track Analysis — Trial Mountain (Reverse)

Where and how to drive on this track for the best lap time.

Reversed Hairpin Entry

2nd gear

Tight left-hander uphill

In reverse, the hairpin is now approached uphill. Brake firmly on the flat before the crest and turn in late. Traction on exit is important as the track rises.

Reversed Chicane

4th gear

Fast right-left chicane

Now taken right-to-left instead of left-to-right. Use the same principle — minimal braking, carry speed with light inputs. The exit opens onto the downhill section.

Reversed Opening Complex

3rd-4th gear

Fast downhill left-right

Now the final sector in reverse, taken downhill at high speed. Track position on exit is critical as it leads into the start-finish straight. Be precise — the downhill increases exit speed dramatically.
